Small pocketwatch - the ticking helps calm her down when angry or upset. She hangs it around her neck so she can compare it to her heart rate and try to slow it when necessary. A tiny picture of her cat is located inside to cheer her up during bad times.

[ PERSONALITY ]

TRAITS:

Untrusting: Ciro has had issues putting her complete faith in people due to past events such as having to hide her true self away from everyone around her; when first encountering new people, her first thought is always that of whether they can be trusted or not, or whether they're hiding something. Or if not, her thoughts turn to wondering whether they're judging her. Since joining BJBB, however, she has begun to realise that not all people have an ulterior motive and she wishes to dismiss these ideas from her mind in an attempt to create new friendships - though she still has difficult disregarding her instincts.

Polite: One of the core lessons she learnt the hard way as a child was to be polite at all times. The methods of teaching this were quite crude, however, so she was half-traumatised into making it a part of herself. It suits her current lifestyle quite well; she tries her hardest to show respect to all those she encounters and to avoid offending then in any way possible. The last thing she wants is to make someone feel uncomfortable, and feels awful when she does so.

Curious: True to her occupation, Ciro is curious by nature and is constantly wanting to learn more about the people she encounters and the happenings involving them. She's always hesitant to ask for more details, however, as her strict polite attitude wishes her to cause no possible discomfort to others. Some of the rabbits she's encountered are simply too interesting, however, so she is attempting to let go of this personal restraint in the hopes of becoming better acquainted with them. (She still has a lot of difficulty with this.)

Insecure: Due to past events she has trouble opening up to others and expressing her thoughts or feelings - she's constantly worried that the other will get the wrong opinion of her or will judge her as she is likely judging them (however much she doesn't want to). Feels uncomfortable sharing details about herself for this reason. Tends to be quite passive - automatically does what others tell her. Very self-conscious of both her actions and her physical appearance, which is why she tends to cover her body in layers of clothing. Low self-esteem.

Caring: Though she has trouble voicing her concerns, Ciro's always worried for the wellbeing of those she encounters in the Brigade - she's happy to help with problems in any way possible if it'll benefit them, but she goes about this quite hesitantly due to her trust issues.

Conflicted: In the current point in time, Ciro's own wishes collide with what she was raised to know. She feels isolated and wishes to make some friends above anything else; but feels uncomfortable in social situations and is unsure how to handle herself in said situations. She wishes to accept things and open up more readily to others, but can't do so without feeling anxious. She's going through a phase of self-discovery that she never got the chance to do when she was younger - she's learning how she personally feels about things without having to conform to the rules, restrictions and opinions of others. She's trying to become her own person, instead of whoever others want her to be.

SUMMARY: Born a rabbit, Ciro was abandoned in an orphanage when she was very young. Her dark brown hair had easily hidden her small developing ears, so they thought she was human. A woman came in looking to adopt on the same day she arrived and was adopted so swiftly that she was passed off as a human boy and soon found herself in the family of a wealthy business man. Her father was stern and strict, but her mother always acted lovingly unless she was with her husband, in which case she acted strict, too. She also had an older sister, Isabelle, whom she loved very dearly. When her gender was discovered her mother was beaten by her husband for her 'ignorance'. Her mother wanted to name her Cindy, but her father named her Zero instead to mean she was worth nothing. Isabelle was the first to discover she was both a female and rabbit, but helped hide it from everyone else to avoid getting the orphan hurt.

At age six her adopted mother died, so 'Zero' started spelling her name 'Ciro' in reference to 'Cindy', but was beaten by her father for it so didn't spell her name that way again until she was nine. She was educated and raised in disguise as a boy, to avoid embarrassing the Kirian family name. She went through a harsh training to only speak when spoken to and basic things like that, where her father would hit her if she said something he didn't like. Then a friend of her father's, a scientist, stayed at their house. He had Ciro learn intel and wiretapping while his father was away and soon began making lots of money from the information. Then Isabelle got sick. Unbeknownst to Ciro, the scientist had been poisoning her due to money arguments with their father. The doctors couldn't do anything; she was to be bed-ridden the rest of her life. Ciro stayed in her room the following nights, stopping her intel. The scientist was soon kicked out of the estate.

Later her father came home, drunk. He tried to cook stew but gave up and wanted Ciro to cook for him, so he went upstairs, knife in hand, to wake her up. When he walked in Isabelle was coughing up blood and Ciro had rabbit ears. She had forgotten to hide them that night. In his intoxicated state, their father didn't recognise Ciro, so attacked her. He cut her ear, but when he tried to fatally wound her Isabelle jumped in the way and got herself killed. Their father stood stunned for a minute, then went to attack Ciro again. In her panic she knocked over a lamp that landed on his head and knocked him unconscious. The police soon arrived from the maids calling and Ciro ran, carrying Isabelle in her arms. Eventually she lost the police and buried Isabelle in a graveyard, staying in that area for three years under a different alias. One day her true identity was found out and she was cornered in an alley by the P.O.S.R.A., but was rescued by a mysterious bunny saying she was welcome at BJBB, then left. She spent almost three years gathering information and following bunnies until she eventually gave up. However, as soon as she did, she stumbled onto it completely by accident. After explaining her situation and pleading lots, they eventually allowed her to join the Brigade.

TRIVIA:

• Ciro owns her own apartment as well as her room on the D-rank floor - if anyone asks, it's for familiarity, but in all honesty it's just to keep her cat.
• Has a habit of fidgeting with things like her DG-T when nervous or worried - the worse she feels, the more she fidgets.
• She ruined her eyesight collecting information at night, so without her glasses all she can see is blurry shapes. Without proper ears, they stay on by the aid of a reinforced clip on the bridge of her nose - unfortunately this means it leaves dark imprints on her skin.
• One of the only things that terrify her are heights.
• She feels uneasy around people that remind her of her adoptive sister.
• Ciro owns a cat named Belle whom she's very attached to. Spends almost all her time at the apartment just cuddling her.
